Jenny Adler

Jenny AdlerJenny Adler, Ph.D., is a conservation photographer, cave diver, and National Geographic Explorer. Her work as a photographer is informed by her scientific background, and she uses her imagery to give a voice to science and conservation. After obtaining a degree in marine biology at Brown University, she worked as a biologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, in Florida, and earned her Ph.D. in interdisciplinary ecology from the University of Florida. With support from the National Geographic Society, Jenny developed and implemented an environmental education program called Walking on Water, which immerses young Floridians in their drinking water through underwater photography and the first 360 virtual tour of the Floridan aquifer. She is a TEDx alumna and has exhibited throughout Florida and at the Royal Geographical Society in London. Jenny is represented by National Geographic Creative.
